A sapling in the forest patiently climbs toward the sky, sometimes waiting centuries to feel the kiss of direct sunshine on its leaves. Like the forest trees, we strive alongside one another, sometimes falling within one another’s shadows, sometimes catching warm patches of sunlight. Like the sapling, we must often reach the hardest while we’re standing in the densest shadow, but God’s light is waiting for you.
